Infobus for Refugees

Native-speaking consultation on the asylum procedure, support in any asylum related issues, and preparation for the interviews in front of the camps.

Munich & Fürstenfeldbruck

The Infobus Munich is a non-governmental organization and was
founded in 2001 as a joint project of the Munich Refugee Council
and Amnesty International in Munich. The streetwork project is the
first contact point for asylum seekers in Munich outside the
authorities. With a large team of volunteer counsellors and
translators, the Infobus provides advice in front of the initial
reception centres/ AnkER-camps in and around Munich.
Our tasks

  • we provide you with information of the asylum procedure in
    Germany;
  • we prepare your interviews at the Bundesamt (the German
    authorities for migration and refugees) together with you;
  • we assist you in reviewing the protocols of your interview regarding accuracy and completeness;
  • we will help you to translate the protocols;
  • we explain letters of the authorities which you do not fully understand;
  • we assist you with appeals against a court/Bundesamt decision

Ingolstadt & Manching

The „Infobus Ingolstadt“ project was founded in July 2018. Its goal is to offer refugees Refugees in the Anker Centres in Manching/Ingolstadt asylum related consultation and prepare them for the interviews in the asylum procedure in accordance with the model of the Munich Infobus for Refugees.
